Trials - All You Need to Know
How Does the Free Cloud Server Trial Work?
Try Go2Cloud free for 5 days with no credit card required. Get instant access to cloud server resources and upgrade seamlessly when you are ready.
What Does the 5-Day Free Trial Include?
The Go2Cloud 5-day free trial includes 2000 core-MHz CPU, 1024 MB RAM, 30 GB disk space, and 2 GB data transfer at no cost.
Are There Any Restrictions on the 5-Day Free Trial?
To prevent abuse, the free trial blocks certain outbound ports including SMTP, FTP, and SSH. Game servers such as Minecraft are also prohibited during the trial.
How Do I Run Windows During My Trial?
You can run Windows during your free trial using a pre-installed image or by installing from a trial CD. Windows licensing is required after the trial period.
Can I Extend My Trial or Get Extra Resources?
Trial extensions and additional resources are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact our support team to discuss your requirements.
Can I Keep My Trial Servers When I Upgrade?
Yes. When you upgrade to a paid account, all servers and data from your trial period remain intact with no interruption.
What Happens When the Trial Ends?
If you do not add credit before the trial ends, your servers and data will be deleted. Convert to a paid account to keep everything intact.
Getting Started
How Do I Access and Control My Server?
Access your Go2Cloud server through the built-in VNC console for initial setup, then use SSH (Linux) or RDP (Windows) for day-to-day management.
Which VNC Software Is Recommended?
The easiest option is the browser-based 'Show screen' feature. For standalone clients, we recommend TightVNC (Windows), Vinagre (Linux), or RealVNC Enterprise Viewer.
What Port Is Used for VNC?
The Go2Cloud VNC console uses port 5900. Use this port when configuring your VNC client to connect to your server.
Why Does My Password Work in VNC but Not in RDP or SSH?
VNC uses a US keyboard layout regardless of your local settings. If your password contains characters that differ between layouts, it may not work in RDP or SSH.
